Where can I learn the rules?
There’s lots on socials, but you can go to YouTube & search “American Football Rules”

Who is Football for?
Anyone over 18 can join, we have players from all heights, weight and age. We also have a youth team, so get in touch: youth@oxfordsaints.com

How often do you train?
Our Teams train on different days. If you look at the team pages you can see times and days that each team trains .

Do I need to have played before and know the rules?
No, we love helping people learn and grow, as well as welcoming returning players

What equipment do I need?
To come and train with us pre-season, just some boots, these can be soccer boots, but they must have plastic blades, no metal studs. Once the season starts, you will need a helmet, shoulder pads, lower pads, gumshield and a couple more bits which we will help you with.
You can find most of the bits through football America & EP Sports but there is often things you can find on Facebook marketplace too.

Do I need to know what position I want to play?
No, some of us are still figuring it out. We will chat with you and give you a chance to try lots of different positions based on your skillset

Do I need to pay subs?
We will invite you down for a couple of sessions to try it for free. Once we get closer to the start of the season subs will be due. If it’s your first season, you will get a discount and pay £200, which works out about £5 per week between training and games. You can pay this in one go or in instalments.

When does the season run from?
We start pre-season in January, then we play 10 games between march and August (a few more if we get to play-offs)

Is there anything else I need to know?
Before the season starts you will need to have signed up to the British American Football Association which covers liability for you and the club, this is usually around £50 per season.
