The Oxford Saints travel to the South Coast on Sunday to take on the Southern Sundevils. Oxford desperately need to win, after a poor start to the season which saw them draw with Norwich and lose to Sussex.
The good news for Oxford is that both of their first two games were games that they were more than capable of winning. The Sundevils have had a mixed start to their season, losing on the road to Norwich and then steamrolling to victory at home to Ipswich.
Sundays game promises to be a thriller. The main match up looks to be between the inform Saints defence and the electrifying Sundevil offence. The Sundevils are a very young squad with speed and youthfull energy at every position.
After a week off from games the Saints have managed to get down to some serious business in training and have ironed out some of the mistakes that cost them victory in the first two games. The Saints should also be at full strength so this should be a battle royal.
So here we go....
Will the South Coast be basking in Sundevil glory as Head Coach Russell Hewitt leads his young guns to victory?
Or will the travelling Saints gate crash the Southern party?
Will big time, big hitting Ywantru Pasley steer the Saints 'Pain Train' Defense right into and over the Sundevils razzamataz Offense?
Or will it be the exciting, dazzling Southern O that prevails?
Saints v Sundevils
Big plays, big hits. A trip to the seaside not to be missed.
