Walter at the double for the Saints

Division 2 South West Match dates
Oxford will face a host of new adversaries in 2012 as the challenge for the BAFANL Division 2 crown in 2012.
They face the Bristol Apache, Gloucester Centurions, Cornish Sharks and Bournemouth Bobcats in their fight for the South-West conference title.
The season kicks off on May the 5th with a trip to Bristol for the first of three games against the Apache with the regular season finally winding up on the 28th July with a visit to the Bobcats in Bournemouth. In between there will be four Saturday fixtures for the first time and the prospect of three clashes each against the Apache and Bobcats to round out a ten game schedule.
The Saints will be looking to bounce back hard from a disappointing 2011 campaign which saw them finish 2-8 and lose their Division One status for the first time since 2006.
Under new Head Coach Andrew Day and featuring a new coaching staff and a host of new players the revamped Saints have high hopes but will be all too aware that a high flying Cornish outfit and the hungry squads at Bournemouth, Bristol and Gloucester will pose a serious challenge.
The full fixture list can be found on the 'game day' - 'schedule' menu.
